Pipeline
We read the reviews real people wrote, not the ones brands paid for.
Scrape real sources
We pull opinions from Reddit threads, forum posts, and independent testers. The places people are honest because they have nothing to sell.
Filter out the noise
Every source gets a credibility score. Affiliate listicles, paid promotions, and marketing-only pages get heavily down-weighted, and marketplace star ratings never make it in at all.
Rank with receipts
You get a ranked comparison with trust scores and sourced pros and cons. Every claim links back to where it came from.
“The honest answer was always buried in a Reddit thread. We just go read all of them for you.”
No vendor pays for placement. No ranking moves because of an affiliate deal. If the cheapest option is the best option, that is what we will tell you.
How a trust score is built
- [1]Weigh sentiment across every real review we can find.
- [2]Discount sources that look like marketing or affiliate bait.
- [3]Reward consistent, specific, first-hand experience.
- [4]Attach a clickable source to every claim so you can check us.
Signal over noise
What we throw out, and what we keep.
Filtered out
- Paid placements and sponsored rankings
- Marketplace star ratings (never ingested; too easy to game)
- "Top 10 best" affiliate listicles
Kept in
- Reddit threads from people who actually bought it
- Forum posts with specific, first-hand detail
- Independent testers with no affiliate stake
Straight answers
The questions a skeptic asks first.
How do you make money?+
Affiliate links. If you buy through a link here, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission never changes the ranking. The product that wins is the product the reviews say wins.
Where do the reviews come from?+
Reddit, forums, Hacker News, and independent review sites. We favor places where people share real, first-hand experience and have no incentive to oversell.
How do I know you are not making it up?+
Every report lists its sources, and we only make claims we can tie back to a specific source. Ratings reflect how many credible sources support each product. If we cannot source a claim, we do not make it.
What does "Verify a product" do?+
Enter a product and we audit its claims — specs, reviews, warranty, and whether the reviewers were independent — against real evidence.
